LOL I make this excuse daily! I was working out in the evenings, and it's too cold and I really don't like going to the gym in the dark. I said I was going to go in the morning, and that was a joke. When do you prefer to work out in the winter? does your preference change with the seasons?

Hmmm, well we just moved here in August so this is my first Texas "fall and winter" but to me it is not that cold (I grew up in Chicago and we moved from DC), I still go in the AM (anywhere between 730 and 9) depending on what ds is up to.
Sometimes if you get out there and start moving it is not as bad as you think. Also, if you do some stuff in the house before you head out, you will warm yourself up before hitting the outdoors--not sure if this is much help!

Back when I worked out religiously, I did it in the evenings. I hate getting up and working out in the mornings, personally. I also don't like going places when it's dark, so I stuck to the gym where there were plenty of people.

I go to the gym in the afternoons. Okay, so I haven't gone in awhile (ack!!), but I'm starting back up this week ~~~ I'm going to go around 2pm. I don't like going early and I don't like going late either. I feel much better about exercise in the summer..I don't know why, I just do. I don't like having to bundle up to go to the gym to sweat.

Sounds like me - too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter.
Spring and fall, I'm just too out of shape. lol
My big kids keep me busy though.

I am a native Texan, but it still hasn't really been too cold for me. Once I get going, I heat up plenty. I just worry about my son being too cold if I bring him with me in the jogger stroller. On cold mornings, our See Mommy Run group meets at 11:00 and usually by then it's warmed up enough.
At the gym, I can work out any time of day. But really I am a morning person and prefer to get my workout done in the morning, no matter what the season.
