In desperate need of prayers!

Family of 5 including two adults and three children ages 4, 2, and 2 are in need of new and/or USED UNWANTED/NEEDED baby supplies and childrens clothes. Father is a stay at home dad while mother works unless you are hiring for night positions....we have desperately been looking for him some work. The kids wear sizes: (2) boys 3t-4t-5t and (1) girls 3t-4t or again any thing larger that I could put up for them. Also, if you have unwanted plus size used clothing womens 26/28 that you are getting rid of or donating that would be helpful too. I found out that I was pregnant (Sept. 24th-currently around 12 weeks along) trust me I didn't want to be and considered abortion, but I just couldn't do it. This is only my second child the other two children are step children that we have custody over due to their mothers "neglect" that was proved in court. I just gave away all of my baby stuff to other mothers in need before I found out that I was pregnant including carseat, clothes, and other newborn necessities. Please do not respond with rude or hateful comments....I am stressed enough over my situation...and for those who must know I was on birth control....guess God decided I needed another one...wish it could have waited....but I just pray that all will be well.

I'm so sorry to hear you're so stressed. I'm sure everything will work out - obviously God wanted you to have that child! Hang in there, and I hope you find some clothes for your family.

I'm a little confused. :scratch Is this family you're wanting donations for, your family? You said they needed prayer in the title. Is it for the father to find a job? I see this is your first post. Umm.. welcome to the board. :)

Thanks for welcoming me! I didn't mean to confuse anyone but since this is my first time posting I wasn't for sure how to describe what the need for the prayers was so I posted the add that I have placed on free sites looking for help. Seriously I was simply looking for prayers for my family (on this forum) I understand how rude it can be for new people to join forums and immediately begin begging for stuff. I read quite a few forums but this is my first time really joining and posting a message. I am really depressed due to everything that my family has been going through lately and more than the necessities right now I need all the spiritual prayers that I can get. I know God will get us through this! :O) Yet, I have received some responses from my adds on the free sites and my boyfriend actually had an interview today for a holiday job that will last for two months...it would definately be better than nothing! I haven't heard from him yet and I am really praying that they choose him for the job. Well, I have to get back to work....I really appreciate the prayers! Thanks and God Bless! :O)

Amanda, I am sorry for all the stress you are going through as well. Are you involved in your church at all? I'm sure they could be a great resource. I know our church is involved in the pregnancy resource center. They will help with baby necessities, I think and probably point you to even more resources. We attend Lake Pointe in Rockwall, but there is a new campus in Mesquite if you are interested.

Yes, please tell us what kind of work your S/O does in case I hear of anything as well. Oh, our church also has an employment resource group as well.

Good luck and I am sure it will all work out in time. I know it seem overwhelming...just take some deep breaths and stay in prayer.

He hasn't really had a "good job" he is a high school dropout that started working with his uncle selling flowers (customer service & stocking) before his first son was born and he became a stay at home father. He loves to work in restaurants and serve, host, or really do anything working with people. He only knows the basics of computers and he can do any general labor work. He wants to go back to get his GED but right now we can't afford it and we don't have anyone else to watch the children. However, if he gets a job then we will qualify for ccms or child care from twc. We are trying to get our act together for the children...and I know God will get us through!

I am currently a member of a Baptist Church in Seagoville, but I haven't been in about a year(with me continuously going) I have been, but only a few drop ins. I just didn't feel the support that I was looking for and desperately needing. I haven't tried another church yet. With me being so depressed I don't want to go to a new church and start "begging" as some call it when I am really looking for a church family and church spiritual support. Where is the church in Mesquite located? I would love to find a caring church to go to with support groups/resources. I am tired of being depressed....that is why I am looking so hard now for help and mostly spiritual support. It seems like everything is going wrong and the only place I have to turn to is my faith in God...that is the only thing and best thing that has really worked for my family.
