Question

Ok i have a question and this is going to get graphic. I was in the ER yesterday for about 4 hours because I am bleeding really bad and clotting. I am filling up a overnight maxi pad in about 5 to 10 minutes. I am still doing it today. I am really scared that i am bleeding to death. I have lost so much blood I can barely move and I am so weak right now I cant even hold my son. Now i was told it was just my hormones. This cant be right there has to be something else wrong. I cant even sit down with out leaving a trail of blood behind. I sat down this morning to get on the computer and i got up and my son told me there is blood everywhere. Well i look and i left huge clot in my chair. I ran to the bathroom and I am still clotting. It wont stop and I am in so much pain i cant stand it anymore. I am even wearing sweats and underwear and it still going through. Has anyone had this problem? I am getting really scared that I am hemaorging or something. Sorry not good with spelling. If you have ever heard of this can someone call me I am leaving here in a few to go back to the ER just waiting on my husband to come get me since i cant drive. 972-342-1520 THanks Mindy

Call your Ob/Gyn. They will tell you what to do. It sounds like you are bleeding way too much. The ER may not be as sympathetic as an OB nurse or doctor. If they want you to go to the er, they will phone ahead and have treatment waiting for you.
You poor thing....good luck.

I have no advice to offer, but I agree with Teri. Call your OB/Gyn.

Sorry to hear this. Get treatment right away-if you have a feeling something is wrong, call your doctor and if they don't listen, call another one who will!! I hope you're feeling better soon.:(

I went to the dr. He told me its just my first period. He put me on hormones and that should stop it. My MIL is on her way over to help me with my kids. I can barely move now and i cant take care of my son. I will keep everyone posted. Mindy

Well its still pretty bad but there is nothing i can do about it. I am trying to get my house cleaned up I have gotten blood on pretty much everything we can sit on. I think i might be weak becuase i have not eaten in 2 days. I am just not hungry. The last thing i had was Wednesday night and i think my body is getting mad at me. I am hoping this will stop soon. I am so tired but I cant lay down it just gets worse. My husband should be home in about 20 mins and that will help. Thank you all for the replies I should be ok. Mindy

Well i am doing a little better. I finally ate last night and I actually kept it down even though my husband ordered a nasty pizza last night but i was not going to cook. I am not bleeding as bad as i was, thoses pills are helping me alot. They are suppose to stop my bleeding completely. I have to take them for 4 days. The lady at the pharmacy told me they are the strongest hormones any woman is allowed to take. My husband has been a big help with all of this. Thank you all for the support I am sure this will clear up if for some reason I dont stop within the 4 days I will have to go in for a DNC to clean me out. Hopefully it wont come to that. I was really scared that something was screwed up from my c-section but my dr said everything looked ok. I have one of the best dr's in the world he is the only one I have found that actually cares for his patients. He was mad that no one called him on Thursday to tell him I was in the ER so thats why they did not subscribe me anything that day he told the dr i was seeing in the ER to let me go home and not to touch me or give me anything. He is the kind of doctor who will come in on his day off and take care of his own patients. I love him he is great. Anyways thanks again. I am sure I will be ok. Mindy
