Natalie is a little con artist, btw... She conned her way into the driver's seat and then when we went back later to take them apple dumplings as a thank you for the picture, she conned them into letting her have one. :giggle

He was asleep in his carseat when I drove by and they were out washing the trucks. Had to jump on it!

THIS was my VERY favorite one! We spent over an hour there & Cassidy did SOOOO much stuff with them, including getting her blood pressure taken. lol She 'drove' both the fire truck & the ambulance and pretty much used the back of the ambulance is a jungle gym & she sang songs over the speaker. I was the most nervous about this one (LOL) but we had such a fantastic time. :love Everyone should visit their fire station at least once. :love We'll definitely be going back to see these guys.

I felt like a total goof too. I'm sure he probably didn't mind the break from mopping the station floors, but I put it off for a long time because I was nervous about it. :giggle

I'm curious, do you have to call ahead that you're coming, or if I just show up will they give us a tour? The firestation on my side of The Colony is right behind my house, and I really want to take the kids up there.

You girls crack me up being nervous. We know all of ours by name. :lol Good people to know. ;)

Kristi, you can just stop by. Try not to do it at a meal time. And they always love it when you bring goodies. :upthumb

I think most stations are really cool about having company, especially if you come bearing food!!
