I received two mats about a week ago and didn't know I needed a play mat until I gave it a try! We have hardwood floors in the house so the only place to put the little one down in is a bouncy seat. When I opened the Squishy Mat up (the Little Squish) the first time to put the baby down, my preschooler and nephew came running! They kept saying "Soft!!" It was so cute! But, made play time so much easier! Everyone was in one place and the mat was much easier to move than his bouncy seat! We also use the mat when ECI comes to do play therapy with the baby!

Support Technology Education Scholarships for Students on North Texas Giving Day
8/10/17 - (Frisco, TX) - The National Videogame Museum (NVM) has established a scholarship program to award four $1,500 scholarships to high school students interested in pursuing a career in the videogame or technology fields. Students must be enrolling in any four-year college or university beginning fall 2018. The museum hopes to be able to offer additional scholarships in the future years as they add to the scholarship funds.
North Texas Giving Day on September 14, 2017 offers the community a great way to contribute to the new scholarship fund to support our future generations studying technology-based fields.
Students may apply for one or more of these four scholarships, as qualified:

This summer my kids were able to experience sleepaway camp for the first time! We have been looking for Spanish immersion camps in the DFW area for years but always came up empty handed. Thankfully, in May, we learned about Camp La Llanada located only an hour north of DFW. 2016 was their inaugural year in Texas but they have provided camp experiences in Venezuela and Florida for 20 years. That experience showed in my own kids' camp experience. Camp La Llanada was well organized and dropping off the kids was a fun experience for parents and kids alike.
Every cabin had 2 counselors and there were 8 campers or less (my daughter's cabin had 4 girls) per cabin. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned.
Campers enjoyed lots of swimming in the pool and the lake that are on the premises but also travelled a short distance to visit Lake Ray Roberts. My adventure...
